CAMPISI - Grated Red Tuna Bottarga Jar 35g

Description

Campisi tuna bottarga grated. The translation of the Arabic term "bat?rikh" literally means "dried fish eggs."

It is actually obtained by drying and subsequently salting tuna eggs. To obtain it, a long and tiring process is required, starting with extracting the tuna eggs, thoroughly cleaning them, and then salting. After pressing and before marketing, it matures for at least 90 days, an essential period to give bottarga its typical golden-amber color and the intense flavor that characterizes it.

Tuna bottarga has a stronger flavor than mullet or curled bottarga. It is mainly used to prepare pasta with bottarga but also to flavor croutons for a sea-flavored appetizer; starters and main courses.

Ingredients: tuna eggs (99%), sea salt.

May contain traces of fish, mollusks, crustaceans, soy, nuts.
