Our organic five-spice blend consists of the traditional Chinese mixture of cloves, fennel, Sichuan pepper, and green anise, without cassia (Chinese cinnamon, which is much less aromatic than Sri Lankan cinnamon), which we replace with genuine Ceylon cinnamon sticks from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) for extra aroma.
