Tuna milt is a typical fish product used as an ingredient in cooking... Typical of Sicily, it is the male equivalent of bottarga. It is obtained from 9ds and requires catching male fish during the breeding season. In other words, the seminal fluid sacs must be as full as possible; they are collected, cleaned, boiled in water and salt, then cooled. At this stage, the milt is drained and stored in glass jars with olive oil. Its natural and authentic flavor gives your dishes a Mediterranean touch. Excellent for seasoning first courses based on hot or cold pasta, but also for unique dishes with fish and fresh salads.
Ingredients: Mediterranean tuna milt (70%), olive oil (26%), sea salt.
