The smooth penne from Afeltra, made with semolina carefully selected from 100% Italian wheat, are mixed with water from the Lattari mountains, bronze-drawn, and slowly dried for up to 48 hours.
According to tradition, true penne are softer and more flavorful! They don’t need grooves to hold the sauce; these penne are pleasantly rough to accompany even the richest sauces.
Try them with your favorite sauce or serve them with a classic: Arrabbiata sauce.

The award-winning Pastificio Olimpio Afeltra was founded in 1848 and is located in the heart of Gragnano. In a monumental building dating from the early 19th century, 5,000 kg of pasta are produced daily with full respect for the artisanal method. The best durum wheat semolina arrives and is analyzed with each delivery to ensure it meets the required excellence standards in terms of protein, gluten, and ash content. The dough and pre-kneading are done under vacuum, very slowly, using the purest water from the Monti Lattari of Gragnano. The drawing is exclusively bronze, and drying lasts from 24 to 52 hours, depending on the shapes, with temperatures never exceeding 48 degrees.
