Description
Sumac adds a touch of acidity—similar to lemon or vinegar—to your fish as well as your lamb and beef dishes. It also complements salads, especially those made with tomatoes or onions. It is one of the three ingredients that make up za'atar, a popular aromatic spice blend in Lebanon.
Simple and Gourmet: add a teaspoon of Oranessence powdered sumac to your yogurt and herb sauce to accompany your raw vegetables or season your wraps.
