Sylvestris honey is produced by Pietro Civale's bees, located in the Pollino National Park.
This polyfloral honey is dominated by heather, wild pear, and wild cherry .
Heather, a plant with very rapid flowering, grows abundantly in the Mediterranean scrub, as do wild pear and wild cherry trees. This
honey , dark amber in color, has a floral scent slightly sweet . This is a true wild honey, without a dominant floral note. The honey
from Serra del Prete won the 3 drops of BioMiel.
