ORANESSENCE - Brazilian Mate 80g

Obtained from the green leaves of a holly species. Mate is a caffeinated drink mainly originating from Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina. Slightly tangy with fruity notes, its taste resembles a strong green tea. Mate is energizing and improves concentration, but like any caffeinated beverage, it is recommended not to consume it in excess.

To prepare your mate, fill your gourd two-thirds full with mate, tilt the gourd slightly so the mate gathers on one side, then insert your bombilla (filter straw) by sealing the end so that when you pour the water, the mate does not rise into the straw. Now pour the water; it should be simmering but not boiling, like for green tea. Enjoy. You can re-infuse your mate up to 5 times during the day.
