ORANESSENCE - Black Cardamom 30g
Description
Black cardamom is quite different from green cardamom. Its flavor is much more subtle, slightly smoky. It acts as a flavor enhancer and is not overpowering.
To use it, you need to break its brittle pods and collect the small black seeds.
It adds authenticity to Indian and Asian dishes, but it will also give character to your vegetables, stews, broths, and meat or fish marinades.
Feel free to crush the small seeds (without the pods) in a mortar or grind them into powder. You can add them during cooking.
It is also interesting in baking when ground. It will flavor your chocolate and fruit-based preparations: cakes, pastries, mousses…

- No additives, no colorants, no preservatives, non-irradiated.
- Allergens: In our workshop, we handle the following allergens: mustard, sesame, peanut, tree nuts, celery, sulfites (natural presence: garlic, onion, shallot). We take maximum precautions to avoid any cross-contamination. However, traces of these allergens may remain.
