We will start the evening with a convivial aperitif featuring homemade focaccia fresh from the oven, accompanied by flavorful Italian salumi and cheeses, and of course the unmissable authentic Italian sott’oli antipasti. A gourmet and warm moment to get to know each other and feel at ease, before diving into the fascinating world of homemade fresh pasta. The workshop will end on a sweet note with the tasting of a true artisanal panettone.

Introduction to pasta: historical context and evolution – 10 min

Ingredients: durum wheat and soft wheat – 5 min

“Water and flour” pasta: gnocchi, tagliatelle – 45 min

Egg pasta: lasagna, tagliatelle, garganelli – 45 min

Debrief and questions – 10 min
What you need to bring:
Nothing—just a bit of willpower and energy for kneading!
What I will learn:
You will understand how to make pasta at home: quantities, kneading and resting times, different shapes, and cooking times.
What I will take home:
Along with an incredible desire to keep your hands in the dough, you’ll take home the tangible results of your efforts!
